| From Sacramento | The most direct way from Sacramento: once you leave I-80, enjoy the scenery as you enter the Wine Country. Stay on Highway 12 as it meanders across southern Napa County and eastern Sonoma County. In Santa Rosa, head north for about 5 miles to River Road, then head west another 15.5 miles to Guerneville. |
| From the Bay Area | The Freeway Flyer Route, from anywhere in the Bay Area, pick up US101 in San Rafael and head north nearly 45 miles to River Road, five miles north of Downtown Santa Rosa. Follow River Road west for about 15.5 miles into Guerneville. |

| Rush-Hour Alternative #1 | Exit US101 at Old Redwood Highway north of Petaluma and go west across the freeway for about a tenth of a mile. At the light, turn right onto Stony Point Road. go north for about five miles to Hwy 116. Turn left and follow Hwy 116 through Sebastopol and Forestville, all the way into Guerneville. |
| Rush-Hour Alternative #2 | Exit US101 at Lakeville and head west under the freeway to downtown Petaluma. At Washington Street, turn left and proceed out of town. Travel through Two Rock, Valley Ford, Freestone, Occidental, and Monte Rio and find yourself in Guerneville. |
